MSI Wind U123 Netbook

MSI Wind U123 Netbook will be launched shortly and like its predecessor the U100, which was the first 10.1 inch netbooks, it will run on the 1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor. The Intel Atom processor consumes very little power (about 5 watts) compared to its dual core cousins used in bigger laptops. This low power consumption insures a longer battery life especially if you opt for the 9 cell battery.

Other features of Wind U123 include 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, a 120GB 2.5 inch SATA hard disk, 10.2 inch 1024X800 pixel LED backlit screen, 1.3 megapixel webcam, wireless connectivity, bluetooth, 5-in-1 card reader slot, headphone/microphone jacks and TV antenna connector. It is less than 1/2 inch thick and weighs just 3 lbs.
