GEM Green Eco Mobility Peapod Car is ideal for short distance travel within city limits upto a range of 30 miles (50 Kms). Peapod sports a top speed of 25 mph (40 Kmph). This all electric ultra small car can seat four people. It can be charged through a standard house-hold electricity point in 8 hours. So, the Peapod offers to be a utility vehicle which reduces cost and pollution. The Peapod car also sports a iPod docking station and can use iPod as an ignition key.
Those specs doesn't really appeal to me much. Other small cars that are similar to the GEM can run even faster.
